![]() The hole that rose up formed a stack chimney through the hill, providing ventilation which allowed smoke to escape. Hund stared at the flames, remembering long ago when he was on his back, carefully chiseling the rock inside the wall. Don’t sleep much anyway.” He hunched down to place a log into the fire pit built into the wall between two rooms, and stirred it back to life. In the embers of the nearby fire, his wizened eyes sparkled with wisdom and intellect. The human was getting on in age, his hair and long mustache a mix of grey and brown. Hund spun around, then nodded to the speaker. Gods be good, why didn’t I think of that… Hund marveled at the ingenuity of the design. The litany of drunken curses was lost behind a barrier of wood, leather and wool designed to muffle the gaol’s most vocal occupants. Hund didn’t spare him a second look, stepping out of the prisoners’ hallway and shutting the door. ![]() Nefr began to ramble and howl at him, his words so slurred that only their hostility could be felt, not their meaning. The long lives of varl turned memories into labyrinths of time. Or was it more than a century now? Hund frowned, struggling to remember. He couldn’t help but feel some shame for his inexperienced handiwork all those decades ago. I’ve learned and practiced so much since then. I could do so much better now, he thought. How the height was just enough that a varl didn’t have to bow his horned head, how there was even a couple of rooms large enough for his kind. He moved slowly, studying the passage and reflecting on his contributions to the architecture. Hund sighed at the prisoner’s needless obstinance and walked towards the exit, passing a few beams of morning light peeking from apertures carved into the stone walls. “If you be quiet, I’ll have the gaoler get you some water. The iron door handle was chilling to touch, even for the giant, yet the satisfying slam and thunk of the lock bar warmed the cockles of Hund’s heart. Seeing as you don’t have any,” Hund replied, shoving the unruly varl into the largest gaol cell. ![]() “I wouldn’t be talking about friends right now, Nefr. Moreover, all your references lack page numbers. Vardhanajñāna ( talk) 17:12, 14 June 2018 (UTC) Reply The last two paragraphs you added are still entirely unreferenced, and in one place written in the first person both points need to be addressed, or the paragraphs removed. I would be grateful if you could have a look to let me know whether now the cited sources look sufficient. I have now revised the article once again, including a large number of references. Wikipedia does not use original research, sources need to be cited. Assuming (as others have) that this was the revert in question, it was entirely because none of that material cited a professionally-published academic source.David Biddulph ( talk) 14:01, 14 June 2018 (UTC) Reply According to the History tab for Buddhist poetry the revert was done by user:Z0 who didn't leave a summary but you could ask on their talk page user talk:Z0. Eagleash ( talk) 13:59, 14 June 2018 (UTC) Reply As the IP had made a large addition which was entirely unsourced, the reversion should not have been a surprise. contribs) 13:57, 14 June 2018 (UTC) Reply Probably relates to Buddhist poetry where some recent IP edits were removed and a message left at the IP talk page that they were unconstructive.Preceding unsigned comment added by Vardhanajñāna ( talk The reason why the edit does not appear with my account is that I created an account only after this happened. Several people even read it and offered some suggestions, which I incorporated. Are you sure you saved (published) your edit? This, in fact, could not be further from the truth. In its present state, that is, without my edit, the entry on "Buddhist Poetry" is entirely tilted towards East-Asian poetry, giving the misleading impression that an Indic Buddhist poetic tradition did not exist. I would appreciate some further explanation. All my additions were removed by an editor with the explanation that my edit was "not constructive". I added a detailed section about Buddhist poetry in India, with some emphasis on the Sanskrit tradition. ![]() I recently offered a rather detailed edit on the Wikipedia entry on "Buddhist Poetry". Thanks in advance. I'd like it to be significantly smaller and moved to the right, just like on the Italian version. The goigs were sung during the religious ceremonies, the processions, the pilgrimages and the votive festivals. In Catalan, where the word took origin, the plural and masculine form is always used even if it is about a single piece, in light of their goal to celebrate the Virgin's Seven Joys. In the so-called Catalan Countries, the goigs are popular compositions of poetry praising the Virgin Mary or the Saints. I've just come up with this, which takes up the entire space! Thing is, in spite of being on Wikipedia for years I'm not familiar with the technical procedure at all. Hi everyone! I've been working on this page I've created yesterday by translating it from Italian, and I wanted to create the small table to the right you can see on the original page. ![]() My settings are all at High besides shadows, turned down to Medium because I don't notice them too much. ![]() Right now ESO runs mostly between 70 and 80 C (never above 85 but that's quite rare, only happens once or twice per session), and the fan speed goes between 15 RPM (still very silent!), up to 2300 very occasionally during some cyrodiil or boss fights. So I adjusted the fan to move faster and keep the GPU cooler. Others say that no matter what it's not good for any device to get past 80 - 90 Celsius for too long at the risk of reducing its lifespan. Some think that the computer is perfectly fine anywhere below 100 Celsius (when by standard the comp will slow itself down to prevent possible damage) because the iMac is built like a laptop - known to have less space for ventilation so the components are made to endure higher temperatures (the aluminium case also helps as a heat conductor). I haven't had the chance to ask an apple expert yet but on the internet opinions seem very mixed. But after downloading the Macs Fan Control app I realised that maybe it gets too hot (80-90 Celsius, 95-100 in big fights like Cyrodiil) for its long term safety. I never had checked this stuff at all because these computers are very silent & it's expected for them to get quite hot during heavy use like gaming. It also might help other mac owners who had no idea about this stuff like I didn't one year ago! My iMac 5k will turn one year old soon so I figured it's about time to start taking good care of it I create this thread because I'm interested in knowing other people's opinions on what is a reasonable GPU temperature (what I think it's the most heated component) & fan speed while playing this wonderful game. ![]() First of all please excuse my poor English, it's not my native language and it wasn't easy for me to explain (or rather try to) this kind of technical concepts on a forum post. Hello all! I've been doing a lot of research on this topic recently but it's hard to get a clear answer so hopefully we can shed some light on the matter here. |
